Perfect and stunning location short walk to Close to all attractions, Michigan Avenue along the River, and the mag mile, Chicago theatre, and restaurants/bars, very good check-in. For shots visit London House Rooftop Bar, nestled within 10 minutes' walk of the hotel.

Tourists will love it!
Great location near attractions and restaurants. Free water stations were a nice touch, very convenient!
It wasn't cheap, but worth the price.

Our room at the River was comfortable in terms of heating and air conditioning. we were disappointed that there were no complimentary toiletries provided, such as soap or body wash, which was frustrating when we needed to clean up a mess. The lack of attention to cleanliness in the room was also evident, with dirty walls and furniture. Another issue we encountered was with the TV signal, which was never resolved despite notifying the front desk. The noise level from adjacent rooms was also disruptive, as the sound insulation seemed lacking. the promise of a room change to a more quiet location did not materialize, leading to a feeling of unprofessionalism. the location of the hotel was excellent, and the bed linens seemed clean and comfortable. The availability of tea and coffee on the 2nd floor was a nice touch, providing a pleasant and tasty option for beverages. The overall experience was marred by these shortcomings, making it challenging to recommend the hotel to others.

Outstanding hotel, everything was wonderful, I liked staff and location. Accommodating personnel was with my request of an upgrade after an 11 hours flight form Austria. Actually everything was fine, my next choice again in Chicago.

I stayed in a room right by the elevators and wow, it was noisy! I barely got any sleep because the loudness from the elevators kept waking me up, making the whole stay pretty rough. Not ideal for light sleepers!

The spacious suite was a highlight, featuring two queen beds and stunning views. Temperature control was efficient, keeping the room pleasant despite the heat outside. The beds, however, had noticeable dips, impacting overall comfort. A mini fridge and microwave would have added convenience. I appreciated the cleanliness and quiet atmosphere, essential for restful sleep. The room had an obstructed view, limiting natural light. The noise from street parties at night was disruptive, making it difficult to fully relax. Friendly staff promptly addressed maintenance issues, contributing positively to the experience despite some minor setbacks.

great location but shower head needs a fix
The location is a prime spot with easy access to everything. The complimentary filtered bottled water and the friendly staff make this place stand out.
The shower head was broken and could not be adjusted.

Location stands out. Close to everything you need. Initial room was too small; switched to a larger one without a hitch. View wasn’t ideal, but we merely slept there. Limited on-site dining, yet plenty nearby. Nespresso machine with complimentary Italian espresso? A delightful touch. Fresh water bottles available—another bonus. Staff? Friendly and attentive. Clean room, comfortable despite the compact size. Furnishings could be updated. Noise from nearby trucks was bothersome, affecting restful nights. Parking adds another layer of inconvenience, being three blocks away and at a cost. The added deposit surprised me; upscale hotels shouldn’t need such measures. Despite minor drawbacks, the appeal of this hotel is undeniable. Would stay again for the location and pleasant extras.
